There are two intellectuals that I always share with the future of Touristology!
One is Chip Conley, a genius able to build communities and chains of value focused on specialized segments.
The other is John Hagel. I remember in 1997 how reading his enlightening book “Net Gain: Expanding Markets through Virtual Communities” help me to write my doctoral thesis and also the Web 2.O Business Model that I shared in OUR blog!
Nowadays, that we are closer and closer to a new technological disruption…
FROM devices that allow to bring Internet with you TO devices that allow YOU to be at any place at any time #BreakingSpaceTimePrison
We have to remember that the important thing is NOT the device!
Please, focus on the New Business Model than we can visualize and implement or, as Steve Jobs would like to say “Start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology…. what incredible benefits can we give to the customer?”
Breaking the Space/Time prison, sounds to an incredible benefit to me!
Nowadays, that so many people (some of them without a technological background, some of them without real business experience) talk about Artificial Intelligence, The Metaverse, Quantum Computing….
